BIBLIO’ ROOMS provides quality accommodation in 6 bedrooms each with private bathroom, right in the heart of Bologna. The guesthouse is located in a building dating back to the 1940’s, on the corner between via Nazario Sauro and via San Giorgio.
From here, Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers and the principal streets of the city center. via Ugo Bassi, via Indipendenza and via Marconi, are all just a 5 minute stroll away.
Thanks to BIBLIO’ROOMS’ strategic position, you can easily reach the Central Train Station on foot or by bus. The perfect place to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a drink or purchase the local gastronomic delicacies, Bologna’s historic covered market, the Mercato delle Erbe, also lies within easy walking distance of the guesthouse.
A CHARMING GUESTHOUSE IN THE HISTORIC CENTER
Featuring giant books, between which the White Rabbit of Wonderland magically appears, the wallpaper in the entrance hall has been designed and produced exclusively for BIBLIO’ ROOMS. Bedrooms and communal spaces are filled with novels and tourist guides, which lovers of literature and visitors eager to discover the city of Bologna are welcome to enjoy.
This large, painstakingly restored apartment conserves many of the original features of what was once a much-loved family home, including crystal chandeliers and beautiful items of antique furniture. To these, the owner (an insatiable reader and traveler), has added a fascinating selection of books and vintage curiosities.

Each room has been inspired by literature: the “Traveller’s Room” features ethnic furnishings and the warm colors of the most exotic of destinations; the red and gold “Haiku Room” captures the simple perfection of oriental poetry; “Alice’s room” pays homage to the magical atmosphere of Wonderland; the “Room of the Ocean” tells a tale of great voyages across the seven seas; the “Room of the Rose” has been designed for lovers of flowers and has a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Bologna; the “Dreamer’s Room” invites guests to lose themselves amidst the clouds and the silence of the large internal courtyard.
